30 Sep The Hub holds a webinar with Wester Balkan economies to discuss the region’s needs on mHealth
On the 28th of September the European Innovation and Knowledge mHealth Hub held the webinar “European mHealth Hub Support – Sharing experiences with Western Balkan Economies on Digital Solutions Developed by the Hub”, together with the South-Eastern Europe Health Network (SEEHN) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The main purpose was to raise awareness of the Hub’s services and to discuss the region’s needs on implementing mHealth programs.
Around 30 participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the mHealth Hub program and to discuss about introduction and support of digital connectivity in health-related aspects, needs in digitalization of e-services, and use of digital tools and apps to facilitate access to health services.
The webinar highlighted the experience and expertise of the mHealth Hub in building countries’ capacity and provide practical assistance to plan, implement and scale national mHealth programs, according to countries’ need. All stakeholders committed to build on the momentum and take further steps aimed at scaling-up evidence-based digital and mHealth solutions.
